Tuwo Alkama (Wheat Swallow)

Tuwo alkama is a swallow made from wheat flour and water. It is commonly eaten in the northern part of Nigeria

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Sieve
  • Turning stick

Procedure

  1. Sift the flour to remove any debris.
  2. Bring a saucepan of water to a boil. Gradually and continuously stir in the flour until it forms a thick mixture.
  3. Cook for 5 minutes, then serve.
