Nigerian peppered turkey wings is a side dish that can be eaten with rice in Nigeria. It is also eaten at parties.
Ingredients
- 6 turkey wings
- 2 small onions, peeled
- 4 cloves garlic (optional)
- ½ teaspoon ginger
- 2 teaspoon stock cube, crushed
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 medium red bell peppers
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt or to taste

Procedure
- Wash the turkey wings and put in a pot with 1 onion, garlic, ginger, stock cube, and thyme. Cover with water and bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Cook until the water dries up, then bake in the oven at 200°C.
- Blend the bell pepper and remaining onion to get a smooth paste.
- Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a pot. Add the pepper paste, and simmer until thickened and losing its raw flavor. Season with salt.
- Add the turkey wings to the sauce, and toss to coat.
